James Island home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in James Island rose by $13,050 while total sales increased by 18.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $280,000 - a 4.9% increase over the $266,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in James Island in April 2016.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,253, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for April 2017.
