James Island home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in James Island rose by $195,750 while total sales decreased by 35.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $410,000 - a 91.4% increase over the $214,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in James Island in October 2016.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,253, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for October 2017.
