Charleston home prices rise in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Charleston rose by $22,750 while total sales decreased by 35%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were 139 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 9% increase over the $252,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 214 homes sold in Charleston in November 2016.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,430, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for November 2017.
