James Island home prices fall in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in James Island fell by $25,000 while total sales increased by 4.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $280,000 - a 8.2% decrease over the $305,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in James Island in March 2017.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,253, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
