Charleston home prices rise in June 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2018 in Charleston rose by $15,500 while total sales decreased by 47.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2018, there were 150 homes sold, with a median sale price of $305,500 - a 5.3% increase over the $290,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 287 homes sold in Charleston in June 2017.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,430, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for June 2018.
