James Island home prices fall in June 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2018 in James Island fell by $65,000 while total sales decreased by 72%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 20% decrease over the $325,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in James Island in June 2017.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,253, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for June 2018.
