Mount Pleasant home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Mount Pleasant fell by $38,000 while total sales increased by 31.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 149 homes sold, with a median sale price of $417,000 - a 8.4% decrease over the $455,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 113 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
