Mount Pleasant home prices fall in December 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Mount Pleasant fell by $45,375 while total sales decreased by 42.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were 61 homes sold, with a median sale price of $385,000 - a 10.5% decrease over the $430,375 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 106 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for December 2018.
