Summerville home prices rise in December 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Summerville rose by $30,000 while total sales decreased by 71.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $211,500 - a 16.5% increase over the $181,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Summerville in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Summerville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $862, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for December 2018.
