James Island home prices fall in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in James Island fell by $6,890 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $253,110 - a 2.7% decrease over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in James Island in February 2018.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,253, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for February 2019.
