Mount Pleasant home prices rise in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Mount Pleasant rose by $40,900 while total sales increased by 46.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 107 homes sold, with a median sale price of $470,900 - a 9.5% increase over the $430,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 73 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
