Charleston home prices rise in June 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2019 in Charleston rose by $41,000 while total sales decreased by 41.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2019, there were 88 homes sold, with a median sale price of $346,500 - a 13.4% increase over the $305,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 150 homes sold in Charleston in June 2018.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,430, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for June 2019.
