The Southern Conference announced on May 6 that all softball tournament games scheduled for Wednesday have been postponed until Thursday, May 7, because of rain. The organization said the original bracket will remain in place, but all matchups will be pushed back by one day.

This update affects teams and fans planning to attend the games in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The change aims to ensure player safety and maintain the integrity of the competition schedule.

According to the revised schedule, No. 5 Chattanooga will face No. 8 Furman at 10:00 a.m., followed by No. 6 East Tennessee State University against No. 7 Mercer at 1:00 p.m. The winner of game one will play No. 4 Wofford at 4:00 p.m., while game four features No. 3 Western Carolina versus the winner of game two at 7:00 p.m.

The Southern Conference has provided an updated tournament bracket for those seeking more details about upcoming matchups and potential changes as weather conditions evolve.

Further information about scheduling or additional updates can be found on the official SoCon website.
