South Carolina Track & Field achieved nine event victories and set six new program Top 10 marks at the Tiger Track Classic on April 25 in Auburn, Alabama. The meet took place at Hutsell-Rosen Track, which will also host the upcoming 2026 Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championship.

The performance highlights the team’s momentum as it nears the end of its regular season. Both men’s and women’s squads contributed to a strong showing, with athletes posting several personal bests and school record performances.

On the women’s side, JaMeesia Ford led with two wins in the 100-meter (11.22 seconds) and 200-meter (22.07 seconds) sprints. Ford’s time in the 200 meters broke a facility record and is now first on the East Region leaderboard, while her mark in the 100 meters ranks seventeenth regionally. The Gamecock women swept the top four spots in the 200 meters, with Alexis Brown setting a season best for fourth all-time in program history, Cynteria James achieving a personal best for seventh all-time, and Zaya Akins also earning a personal best after finishing second in the 100 meters.

Eline Mast won the women’s 800 meters with a personal best of 2:07.35 to rank ninth all-time for South Carolina, followed closely by Abigail White who posted her own career-best mark. In hurdles events, Joslyn Hamilton won with a time of 13.10 seconds while Kyndall Harrington-Spain set her wind-legal personal record as runner-up; both later helped secure victory for South Carolina’s women’s relay team alongside Maya Love and Kymora Lee-Williams.

For men’s events, Jasauna Dennis captured gold in the men’s 400 meters (46.20), Edouard Lecrivain won his event with an outdoor collegiate PR of 1:47.67 to become fourth fastest ever at South Carolina in that distance, while freshman Kaleb Burroughs’ new PR placed him seventh all-time for South Carolina’s program history after finishing just behind Lecrivain.

The final win came from Josiah Wrice, Dennis, Burroughs and Devan Crumpton as they combined to deliver an eighth-fastest time ever by Gamecocks’ men’s relay teams—finishing their race at three minutes three point seventy-one seconds.

South Carolina will finish its regular season next weekend at Jacksonville’s East Coast Relays before preparing for postseason competition.
