Governor Henry McMaster, alongside state and local emergency management officials, is set to hold a media briefing on South Carolina’s preparedness for the upcoming 2025 hurricane season. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, at 11:00 AM.

The briefing will take place at the Charleston Emergency Operations Center located at 8500 Palmetto Commerce Parkway in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Governor McMaster and the officials aim to inform the public about the state’s readiness measures and plans to ensure safety during the hurricane season.
