Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their public schedules for the week of September 29, 2025.
On Tuesday, September 30, Gov. McMaster is scheduled to speak at the 2025 UP Summit at the Bentonville Municipal Airport in Bentonville, Arkansas. At nearly the same time, Lt. Gov. Evette will tour Embroidery Solutions in Kingstree, South Carolina.
On Wednesday, October 1, Gov. McMaster will attend a groundbreaking event for Isuzu at the company’s Piedmont Plant in Piedmont, South Carolina.
Thursday’s agenda includes two events at 10:00 AM: Gov. McMaster will hold a Military Commanders briefing at the University of South Carolina Alumni Center in Columbia; Lt. Gov. Evette will participate in an announcement with Upstate Warrior Solution and the Greenville County Coroner’s office at The Rupert Huse Veteran Center in Greenville.
On Friday morning, October 3, Lt. Gov. Evette is set to visit A.O. Smith for Manufacturing Day in South Carolina at their facility in McBee.
Last week’s schedule for Gov. McMaster included attending Volvo’s celebration of its anniversaries both nationally and within South Carolina on September 23 at the Volvo Charleston Plant in Ridgeville. That day also involved meetings focused on economic development and policy with members of both legislative chambers and local officials.
On September 24, while working from his Statehouse office in Columbia, Gov. McMaster presented Bruce Vollnogle with the Order of the Palmetto before participating in additional policy and economic development meetings throughout the afternoon and evening. Later that day he spoke at a University of South Carolina Law School alumni reception held at the Governor’s Mansion.
The governor’s activities on Friday included joining a recovery event hosted by the Department of Transportation at Jones Gap State Park and taking part in an Emergency Management Division executive conference call.
Emergency management remained a focus over the weekend with multiple state executive conference calls and a media briefing alongside other state officials on Saturday at the Emergency Management Division headquarters in West Columbia.
