South Carolina governor reacts to Supreme Court ruling on Planned Parenthood case

Governor Henry McMaster of South Carolina issued a statement following the South Carolina Supreme Court’s decision in the case of Planned Parenthood South Atlantic v. South Carolina. The ruling was in favor of the state’s stance on the matter.

“Time and time again, we have defended the right to life in South Carolina, and time and time again, we have prevailed,” said Governor McMaster. “Today’s ruling is another clear and decisive victory that will ensure the lives of countless unborn children remain protected and that South Carolina continues to lead the charge in defending the sanctity of life.”

The governor emphasized the significance of this legal outcome as a reaffirmation of his administration’s commitment to their position on life issues within the state.
