U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi met with South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson in Greenville to discuss public safety concerns and ways to improve cooperation between state and federal law enforcement agencies. The meeting focused on key issues such as human trafficking, drug trafficking, illegal immigration, and an increase in antisemitic incidents.
“It was an honor to host Attorney General Pam Bondi this morning in Greenville, where federal, state, and local law enforcement came together to discuss human trafficking, drug trafficking, illegal immigration, and the alarming rise in acts of antisemitism,” said Attorney General Wilson. “Never has there been a more united front between state and federal partners. And to the criminals and cartels in South Carolina – we’re coming for you.”
The roundtable included U.S. Attorney Bryan Stirling; Principal Deputy Administrator of the DEA Robert Murphy; sheriffs and police chiefs from across South Carolina; agents from the FBI and DEA; members of the U.S. Attorney’s Office; as well as several federal lawmakers such as Congressman Joe Wilson, Congressman William Timmons, Congresswoman Sheri Biggs, and Congressman Russell Fry.
This gathering is part of ongoing efforts by Attorney General Wilson to strengthen partnerships among agencies at different levels of government. The goal is to better share intelligence and coordinate operations against criminal threats affecting South Carolina.
