The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) are set to co-host Small Business Day at the Capitol on June 17 in Raleigh. This annual event provides NFIB members and other small business owners with an opportunity to meet state lawmakers and discuss how legislative decisions affect their businesses and communities.

The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, Nature Research Center, located at 121 West Jones St. Attendees will have lunch and participate in a program that includes updates on important small business issues. The event also offers a chance for networking with fellow NFIB members and direct engagement with elected officials.

Further details and a complete agenda will be released soon. Interested participants can register online or reach out to Katie Whittington, NFIB North Carolina Grassroots Manager, via email at katie.whittington@NFIB.org for more information.
