Shamrock Technologies, Inc. announced on Mar. 10 that it will relocate its corporate headquarters as part of a $39.6 million expansion in Laurens County, South Carolina, which is expected to create 57 new jobs.
The move highlights the company’s commitment to growing its presence in South Carolina and supporting local economic development. Shamrock produces micronized wax and specialty additives used in coatings, inks, greases, and lubricants. The company began operations in the state in 2022 after acquiring a manufacturing facility producing related products.
The new headquarters will be located at 101 Connexial Blvd. in Gray Court and will include offices, research and development labs, a pilot plant, warehouse space, and production facilities. Shamrock plans to complete some operations by the end of 2027 with all phases finished by the end of 2030.

Secretary of Commerce Harry M. Lightsey III said that Shamrock’s investment demonstrates “the advantages that South Carolina offers to growing businesses.” Laurens County Council Chairman Jeff Carroll added that “their expansion is a testament to our business-friendly environment and our strong workforce.” The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits for this project.
