U.S. Senator Tim Scott, a Republican from South Carolina and member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC) following its decision to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a statement, Senator Scott expressed strong disapproval of the ICC’s actions, saying, “The ICC has become nothing more than an anti-Israel propaganda machine and a useful pawn for Iranian-backed terrorists. The court’s illegitimate targeting of Israel for defending its people from terror should not be tolerated and should be met with immediate and severe sanctions.”

This statement follows Senator Scott’s recent vote against resolutions proposed by Senator Bernie Sanders aimed at reducing U.S. support for Israel.
