U.S. Senator Tim Scott has announced that Service Academy Day 2025 will take place on September 6 at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. The event is scheduled from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Bastin Hall, located at 79 Hagood Ave.

The event is aimed at high school students in South Carolina who are interested in applying to U.S. service academies. Attendees will have the chance to meet with representatives from the academies, learn about the nomination process, hear from admissions officers, and receive personalized guidance for pursuing careers in the United States Armed Forces.

“Service Academy Day is an opportunity for students to learn about the extensive educational and career opportunities offered by our nation’s prestigious military academies,” said Sen. Scott. “Gaining acceptance to one of these distinguished institutions is a tremendous honor, and the students who pursue this path represent the very best of our nation. I encourage students and parents across South Carolina to take advantage of this opportunity to explore the academies and the rewarding careers available in the U.S. military.”

Senator Lindsey Graham, Representative Jim Clyburn, and Representative Nancy Mace are also listed as hosts for this event alongside Senator Scott.

Students and families interested in attending are asked to RSVP by September 5.
