U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham recently met with Kash Patel, who has been nominated by President Donald Trump to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The meeting focused on discussing national security threats both domestically and internationally.

Senator Graham shared his impressions of the meeting, stating, “I had an outstanding meeting with Kash Patel, President Trump’s nominee to be the new FBI Director. We discussed how the FBI can deal with the national security threats that America faces at home and abroad.” He noted that Patel emphasized a commitment to addressing online groups involved in grooming children for sexual exploitation.

Graham further mentioned Patel’s intention to steer the FBI back to its core mission. “Kash promised to get the FBI back to its original mission of protecting America, and that the days of the FBI leadership having their thumb on the scale politically will be over,” he said.

The senator expressed anticipation for Patel’s confirmation hearing and praised President Trump’s choice, saying, “President Trump did a great job in nominating Kash Patel.”
