The South Carolina Department of Transportation announced that it will install an all-way stop intersection on SC-6 at Meadowfield Road and Jim Spence Road in Lexington County beginning March 13 as part of an ongoing roundabout project.

Signs have been put in place to notify drivers of the new traffic pattern. The department said the all-way stop is being installed in advance of planned construction of a roundabout to create a safer intersection. Construction of the roundabout is expected to be completed in 2027.

The department asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.

More information about this project can be found according to the official roster page.
