SCDOT to close eastbound lane of US-76 Garners Ferry Road for repairs

The South Carolina Department of Transportation announced on April 3 that it will close the right eastbound lane of US-76 Garners Ferry Road near Blue Johnson Road in Richland County for repairs beginning April 6.

According to the department, the closure will start at 8 a.m. on April 6 and is expected to end at 5 p.m. on April 10, depending on weather conditions. The left eastbound lane will remain open during this period, and there will be no detour in place.

The department asked drivers to slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when traveling through the area.
