The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is inviting public input on a proposed improvement project for Interstate 95 in Jasper County. A public meeting will be held on October 2, 2025, at Ridgeland Baptist Church from 5 to 7 p.m. This session will provide attendees with an opportunity to view project plans and discuss the initiative with SCDOT representatives.
The project aims to enhance capacity and mobility along I-95 between Exit 22 (Ridgeland) and Exit 33 (US 17), addressing both operational and structural deficiencies on bridges and interchanges from Mile Marker 21 to 33.9. More details can be found at FixTheDrive95.com/mm22to33.
Public comments are welcome until October 17, 2025. Feedback can be submitted during the meeting via comment forms or through other channels such as email at Exit22to33@FixtheDrive95.com or by mail addressed to Craig Winn at SCDOT’s Columbia office.
