SCDOT seeks public feedback on Greenville County bridge replacement proposal

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is seeking public input on a proposed bridge replacement project in Greenville County. The plan involves replacing the bridge on S-507 (Brooks Ave) over Langston Creek and realigning the intersection of S-507 and Hilltop Avenue at SC 253 (West Blue Ridge Drive). This project site is located approximately 2.7 miles northwest of Downtown Greenville, near the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Public comments are invited from November 10 to December 10, 2025. Feedback can be submitted through the project’s website at projectportal.scdot.org/BrooksAveBridge, by mail to Trey Brown at SCDOT’s Columbia office, by phone at (803) 737-0588, or via email to brownwt@scdot.org. Comments received will be reviewed and included in the project record, with responses provided upon request.
