SCDOT schedules public meeting for Devine Street Corridor Study in Columbia

A public information meeting regarding the Devine Street Corridor Study in Richland County is scheduled for December 2, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will host the event at St. John’s Episcopal Church, located at 2827 Wheat Street, Columbia, SC 29205. The meeting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., with a formal presentation starting at 6 p.m.

During the presentation, the project team will provide an overview of the study and discuss potential design alternatives. Attendees are invited to review these alternatives and offer feedback both before and after the presentation. The public is encouraged to participate in order to gain insight into the project.

Public comments on the project will be accepted until December 19, 2025. Comments can be submitted in person during the meeting, online via the project’s website at projectportal.scdot.org/DevineStreetCorridorStudy, or through email at McIntyreJD@scdot.org. Meeting materials will be available on the website for review and comment on the day of the meeting.
