The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced a temporary closure of the Socastee Swing Bridge in Horry County. The bridge, which spans the Intracoastal Waterway, will be closed on July 29 for filming purposes and is scheduled to reopen on July 30. During this period, traffic will be redirected via SC 544. A signed detour route will be established before the closure.
