The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced a temporary closure and detour of the I-126 Westbound off-ramp to Colonial Life Boulevard in Richland County. This measure, part of the ongoing Carolina Crossroads Project, will begin at 9 p.m. tonight and is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. on Friday, April 25.

During this period, traffic will be redirected to Bush River Road via Greystone Boulevard to reach Colonial Life Boulevard. SCDOT advises drivers to “slow down and pay attention when driving through work zones.”

For further details and updates, the public can visit the Carolina Crossroads project webpage or contact the project hotline at 800-601-8715.
