The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced the closure and detour of a section of SC 101 in Laurens County. This is to facilitate bridge repairs over the Enoree River, starting on July 15. The closure is expected to continue until the end of November.

During this period, a detour route will be implemented. A map detailing the closure is available for reference. It is important to note that SC 101 will remain accessible to local traffic, except at the bridge site itself.

SCDOT advises drivers to exercise caution and reduce speed when navigating near work zones.
