The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has reopened the SC 183 bridges over Twelve Mile Creek and Gregory Creek in Pickens County. The bridges, which were closed in September 2024, are now accessible ahead of schedule. However, drivers should be aware that there will be intermittent lane closures as crews finish final tasks on the bridge.

SCDOT advises motorists to reduce speed and remain attentive to signs and workers while navigating through the work zone.
