The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will temporarily close the SC 11 bridge over I-26 in Spartanburg County for necessary repairs starting September 3. During this period, a detour route will be available for drivers. A map detailing the closure and detour is accessible online. The repair work is anticipated to continue until October, after which there may be occasional lane closures as remaining repairs are finalized.
