The Presbyterian Blue Hose men’s golf team was announced as the 14th seed in the Bermuda Run Regional on May 6, following their victory at the Big South Conference Championship and securing an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The selection was revealed on the Golf Channel.

This marks Presbyterian’s first appearance in an NCAA Regional during its Division I era after capturing its inaugural Big South Championship last week. Last season, Jeep Patrick represented Presbyterian individually at the NCAA Auburn Regional after winning the Big South Individual title.

The NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 18-20 across six sites. The top five teams from each regional and the lowest-scoring individual not on an advancing team will move forward to compete in the NCAA National Championship, which is set to take place at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 29 to June 3.

In addition to Presbyterian as the 14th seed, other teams competing in the Bermuda Run Regional include Virginia (1), Ole Miss (2), Pepperdine (3), Georgia Tech (4), Southern California (5), Wake Forest (6), Mississippi State (7), Little Rock (8), NC State (9), Kentucky (10), Houston (11), Richmond (12) and Navy (13).

The tournament represents a significant milestone for Presbyterian’s program as it continues its progress at both conference and national levels.
