The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in North Charleston rose by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 25.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 207 homes sold, with a median sale price of $135,000 – a 8% increase over the $125,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 279 homes sold in North Charleston in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $729, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
