Nighttime road closure planned for Harden Street in Richland County

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced a temporary nighttime closure of a section of Harden Street in Richland County. The closure is scheduled to begin on July 1 at 7 p.m. and will allow for the placement of pavement markings.

The closures are expected to occur nightly, subject to weather conditions. The schedule for the closures is as follows: from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, until 4 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2; and from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, until 4 a.m. on Thursday, July 3.

During this period, a signed detour route will be in place to guide drivers around the work zone. SCDOT advises motorists to reduce speed and remain attentive while traveling near the area.
