The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced that the I-126 West off-ramp to Colonial Life Boulevard will be closed for nighttime construction starting December 1 at 6 a.m. The closure is part of the ongoing Carolina Crossroads Project and is scheduled to last until 10 p.m. on December 20, though these dates may change due to weather conditions.

During this period, drivers will be rerouted via Greystone Boulevard, Broad River Road, and Bush River Road to reach Colonial Life Boulevard. To assist motorists, message boards, lane closures, and detour signs will be in place along the route.

SCDOT advises drivers to exercise caution and remain attentive to work zone signs and crews. Additional information and updates can be accessed on the Carolina Crossroads project webpage. For further inquiries, the public can contact the project hotline at 800-601-8715.
