The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is thrilled to announce the launch of its very own podcast — Myrtle Moms with Margaritas. Visiting locations all over Myrtle Beach, the hosts, Jen Brunson and Shannon Furtick, bring the voice of Myrtle Beach women to listeners nationwide. Tune in as moms, grandmas, dog moms and other Myrtle mommas talk all about their favorite drink recipes, trending pop culture and handy mom hacks to make the job just a little bit easier.
“This is such an inspiring project to be a part of,” said Jen Brunson, co-host of Myrtle Moms with Margaritas and a marketing manager with MBACC and CVB. “The podcast allows women everywhere to connect over a refreshing beverage while experiencing the laidback Myrtle Beach vibe. The listeners are not only going to fall in love with the show but also with the destination as well.”
Jen and her husband reside in Conway with their son. Shannon, the chamber’s business development services manager, lives in Myrtle Beach with her husband and two sons.
Myrtle Moms with Margaritas is only the start of what is in store for Myrtle Beach. With several new media projects underway, including more podcasts, original YouTube series and even Television shows, Myrtle Beach is striving to be the destination that everyone is talking about… by way of branded entertainment. A long-term strategy is in the works that will take this breathtaking location to screens, social feeds and listening streams everywhere.

With some of the content and branded entertainment we’re producing, we are going to surprise a few people. We’re just getting started.”
