The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Mount Pleasant rose by $20,500 while total sales decreased by 12.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 346 homes sold, with a median sale price of $405,500 – a 5.3% increase over the $385,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 397 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
