The Midlands Spring Plant & Flower Festival is scheduled to take place from April 10 to April 13, 2025, at the South Carolina State Farmers Market in West Columbia. This event has become a staple for gardening enthusiasts in the region, attracting nearly 50,000 visitors last year.

Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase plants, garden essentials, Certified South Carolina produce, and springtime décor from various vendors. The Master Gardeners will be present to provide advice on spring planting.

The festival will run Thursday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free of charge. While wagons can be rented at the venue, attendees are encouraged to bring their own due to limited availability.

For additional details about the festival, interested parties can contact Sonia Brazell via email at sbrazell@scda.sc.gov or by phone at 803-737-4614. More information is also available on the South Carolina Department of Agriculture’s website or their Facebook page @SCFarmersMarket.
