On January 31, McLeod General Surgeon Dr. Jason Davis spoke to the Cheraw Rotary Club.

He educated the group on various surgical options available in Cheraw and talked about his educational experience and personal background. He also explained why he chose to become a general surgeon and what inspired him and his family to come to the Carolinas from the Northeast.

A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Davis joins McLeod from UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina, following his tenure at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Davis is a board certified general surgeon with additional fellowship training in vascular surgery and welcomes every opportunity to help patients prepare for and recover from surgery.
