Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit Council is hosting a Nonprofit Strategic Planning Guidance session this June.

The council was launched by the chamber in 2022 and aims to promote the sustainability and growth of the chamber’s nonprofit organizations and strengthen their role in the Grand Strand community. This strategic planning session is one of several events planned for nonprofits this year.

The interactive luncheon is open to anyone who works for or volunteers for a nonprofit investor. Led by Mikaela Kate, who has more than 15 years of experience in developing leaders, this session will overview the process of strategic planning and the importance for nonprofit organizations.

Attendees will learn how critical it is to not only have a strategic plan but also evaluate skills and strengths to see what steps come naturally and where you might need to recruit help from your team or outside resources.

You’ll be given the tools to see where you already have clarity in the strategic process and where confusion has entered. After the presentation you will be able to identify what’s needed for your unique nonprofit so you can walk away with specific steps to take your organization to the next level.

The Nonprofit Strategic Planning Guidance sponsored by South Atlantic Bank is on June 23, 11:30 a.m. at Dunes Golf & Beach Club 9000 N. Ocean Blvd. Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
