Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center issued the following announcement on September 12.

Lexington visitors and residents –

In whatever way you choose to reflect on the history of this day, September 11, know that just outside the county administration building, you will find this monument contributed to our community by the Leadership Lexington County Class of 2007.

We all know where we were on 9/11/01, and we will always remember the men and women we saw responding to the attacks.

Leave a ❤️ to honor the fallen but never forgotten first responders and civilians.
