Lady’s Island Bridge to close for Habitat for Humanity Turkey Trot

The Lady’s Island Bridge, also known as the Woods Memorial Bridge, will be temporarily closed on November 27, 2025. The closure will affect both marine navigation and vehicular traffic from 7:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. This measure is in place to accommodate the 2025 Habitat for Humanity Turkey Trot 5k event.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation has announced that the bridge will not be accessible to tugs, tugs with tows, or vehicles during this period.
