The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Kiawah Island fell by $33,500 while total sales increased by 88.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 113 homes sold, with a median sale price of $664,000 – a 4.8% decrease over the $697,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Kiawah Island in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Kiawah Island for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $9,591, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
