The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Kiawah Island fell by $95,000 while total sales decreased by 15.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 56 homes sold, with a median sale price of $752,500 – a 11.2% decrease over the $847,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 66 homes sold in Kiawah Island in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Kiawah Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $8,132, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
