Huwell US Inc., a manufacturer of cosmetics and hair care products, has announced plans to open its first U.S. facility in Cherokee County, South Carolina. The company will invest $11.6 million in the new operation, which is expected to create 25 jobs.

Based in Italy, Huwell has been producing hair products for over six decades. The company specializes in private label manufacturing of lighteners and is recognized as a leading supplier of bleaching powders globally. After renovations are completed, the facility is scheduled to begin operations in June 2026 and aims to improve the company’s access to the U.S. market.
