A man from Conway, South Carolina, has been arrested on a charge related to the sexual exploitation of minors. The arrest was announced by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson. Damion Demetrius Frazier, 26, was taken into custody by investigators with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office, who are part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The investigation also involved members from the Attorney General’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.
The investigation began after a report was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline. According to investigators, Frazier possessed files containing child sexual abuse material.
Frazier was arrested on November 14, 2025. He faces one count of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree under state law (§16-15-410), which is classified as a felony and carries a potential sentence of up to ten years in prison.
Authorities noted that Frazier had previously been convicted on similar charges in 2022.
The Attorney General’s Office will prosecute this case.
Attorney General Wilson stated: “All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.”
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is now used as a term to more accurately describe these crimes. The term replaces “child pornography,” which can wrongly suggest consent by minors.
