Hoffman & Hoffman invests $8.5 million for expansion creating 60 jobs in Lexington County

Hoffman & Hoffman, a company specializing in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions, has announced an $8.5 million expansion of its operations in Lexington County, South Carolina. The move is expected to create 60 new jobs in the area.

The company, which is based in North Carolina and operates 15 facilities across the Southeast, will consolidate its existing offices in Lexington County into a new facility at 1 Southern Court in West Columbia. The transition to the new location is planned for the second quarter of 2026.

Hoffman & Hoffman provides commercial HVAC equipment, building controls, mechanical services and hydronic systems to customers from various industries throughout the region.

In a statement regarding the expansion, CEO Jim Bingham said: “Our growth in South Carolina is a direct reflection of the customers who trust us to solve their most complex HVAC challenges. We’re honored to deepen our commitment to this market.”

Governor Henry McMaster commented on the announcement: “Hoffman & Hoffman joins the many companies that have discovered South Carolina is a great place to do business and expanded their presence here. Lexington County Council Chairman M.
