Brandon Michael Davis, 35, of Taylors, South Carolina, has been arrested on three charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors. The arrest was made by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, which is part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, also a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, assisted in the investigation.

The investigation began after a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) identified Davis as a suspect. Authorities allege that Davis distributed files containing child sexual abuse material.

Davis was taken into custody on September 18, 2025. He faces three counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor under South Carolina law (§16-15-405). Each felony count carries a potential penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

Attorney General Alan Wilson stated: “All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.”

The press release also notes that “child sexual abuse material” (CSAM) is now used instead of “child pornography,” as it more accurately describes the nature of these crimes and avoids implying consent by victims.
